2008 Results:

After going to a few smaller shows to acclimatise the birds to what must be very different to there normal day at the farm, even though they had been show-penned up for a couple of weeks, we set off to the bigger ones and were pleased with the result, more than in fact.

East of England Autumn Show 08 Peterborough.

All 08 homebred birds. 1st Prize Pile Cockerel Black Pullet 2nd prize Brown Cockerel 3rd Prize Pile Pullet and 07 Red Cock.

The Poultry Club of Great Britain National Championship Poultry Show Stoneleigh. Nov 08

1st prizes were won by Brown and Blue-Red Males and By Pile Black and Blue Duckwing females. 2nd a Brown Mottled Pullet and 3rd a Pile male

The Federation Championship Show Stafford Dec 20 21st 08.

1st prize Pile Trio, Buff Pair and Blue-Red Male. 2nd prize by Black pullet Brown Cockerel 3rd Prize Blue Duckwing and 4th Pile Pullet. In the Bantam section, our Mottleds won 2nd and 3rd males and 2nd female.

To top a good Show we won a large trophy from the Leghorn Club for Best Member rare Colour most points.
