The lavender Pekin are the most popular of the pekin colours. These little bantams are popular for having the feathered legs and are easy to keep free range because they don`t scratch up the garden quite so much as a large fowl bird.
The legs have to be checked regularly for scaley leg mite which can easily cause a problem with any feathered leg breed.
These eggs take 19/20 days to hatch.
