Good Morning. One-Day Poultry Course
Covering Incubation,
brooding, rearing, sexing and housing your own birds. Stock selection and
sexing, culling very hands on including despatch in a friendly environment and
with a patient teacher. Bring a notebook and all your doubts and questions will
hopefully disappear and be answered . Bring a camera too. An opportunity to see
a great variety of colours within the QUEEN OF EGGLAYERS - THE LEGHORN BREED.
Showing breeding to the STANDARD for those wishing to try showing is also an
option.
Course by appointment 10ish to 3ish including a pub lunch £80 a couple £100.
Also can be
incorporated, a nearby visit to a free-range meat bird project where you can
learn the day-old chick to oven-ready bird business and be hands on throughout
the process and take a bird home that you have despatched, machine plucked, and
eviscerated. You can also purchase fertile eggs chicks and or growers that may
be available
We are conveniently located just of the A5, South of Milton Keynes and not
far from The MI. There will be lots to see and learn. Look forward
