My 6th year of selling fertile hatching eggs.		 Mottled Bantam Leghorns Buff Leghorns

I always incubate my own eggs to check the cock is fertile before selling eggs. I am a member of The Leghorn Club, see website which is linked for a mine of information on this lively productive Mediterranean breed that may be had in so many different colours, and also my flock is registered with DEFRA. Colours can be mixed, ie. 3 by 4's or 4x3's to make a dozen different colours.

July 2008 update. Thank you so much for making this year a very busy year that is not over yet. Hatching for me nearly is through, but there are lots of youngsters sex-able 4 weeks and up, collection only. I hope the European customers are having fun with their hatchlings. 
I have been slow to update and have at last I hope got Cuckoo Araucanas and French Maran and the Fabulous Mottled Leghorn Bantams, no eggs yet for sale they seem to eat them for their own breakfast before I collect them, however I have hatched around 30 and hope to show them during the winter.
Through myriad phone calls that I have received, two new plans have emerged, that I hope will be beneficial.

Item 1 is that for the rest of this year and next year onwards I will be offering fertile eggs 7-10 days old straight from my incubator for you to take home to yours.  Price £3.50 each. You must collect, and not live more than an hours distance away. This means that your eggs are guaranteed fertile and normal on departure and you will only have to wait a short time for them to hatch.
Item 2 is that again because of the many phone calls received, I am prepared to offer one day poultry courses, covering eggs incubation, sexing, colours, mismarks, showing, housing, and many other topics - Click here for details

Pile Leghorns We are located just off the A5 near junction 13 or 14 of the M1. Leghorn cross Araucanas produce very large blue eggs, and these are an option.  Also we sell quite a lot of eggs to schools.
The cost of eggs is £12 per dozen plus postage & packing (£10 within the UK)
