My 7th year of selling fertile hatching eggs.		 Chicks Exchequer Leghorns

I always incubate my own eggs to check the cock is fertile before selling eggs. I am a member of The Leghorn Club, see website which is linked for a mine of information on this lively productive Mediterranean breed that may be had in so many different colours, and also my flock is registered with DEFRA. Colours can be mixed, ie. 3x4's or 4x3's to make a dozen different colours.
STOP PRESS EXCLUSIVE   UNIQUE I believe in this country at present, I have a Trio of DARK BROWN LEGHORNS which were originally imported as eggs from USA. A beautiful addition, Chocolate coloured, see photos. I have bred a few this year and will have a few pairs for sale later this year.

Feb 2009 update. This year is off to a flying start with lots of orders and enquiries.  I hope to hear from you soon. My first eggs went in the incubator Jan 24th so fingers crossed the cocks are firing on all cylinders. Will candle the eggs on Fri with first course member of the year Tom. BANTAMS are available this year in BUFF  WHITE  BROWN and MOTTLED also ELEGANT PROLIFIC RUNNER DUCKS. For those of you living locally I am selling from my incubators, eggs that have only a week or less to go.  Collection only £3.00 each

Blue-Red Leghorns JULY UPDATE Another season draws to an end, and my last hatch has finally happened and the stock birds have mainly been released back into the farmyard and freedom. I just hope the corn ripens soon and can be cut deterring the Fox family from an easy picnic. THANK YOU to those who bought eggs and I hope you are having fun with the results.
